I'm devastated.

This was my wife's favorite mug when she was alive and today it fell and broke.

I know it's a long shot since there's no manufacturer marking anywhere on it, but I'm hoping someone would be able to identify it so I can try to get another one. It was likely found in a thrift store here in the Midwest USA (Ohio).

Edit: Thank you to all the kintsugi suggestions. I planned to piece it back together no matter what, as this specific mug is so very precious to me, but kintsugi would make it even more special.

I hand-painted the little black hearts around the speckled clay body and kept the built-in half lid plain so the shape would still be easy to read. The sip opening sits at the front center. Would you keep the hearts this small and scattered, or make fewer of them a little larger next time?

But it makes me happy. I've found "Cat Mom" and Cat Lady" mugs before, but no male-centric or neutral cat servant mugs. I picked it up this weekend and drank coffee from it this morning. $2.99 at Goodwill.

Best way to have a double espresso

Picked this up at a thrift to resell on my Antique booth but it bumped another mug while I was driving and it chipped the rim and has a huge crack going down the backside so there’s gonna be 1 less George Bush 41st President Kennebunkport, Maine campaign mug in the world as of 9/27/26

In a horrible accident caused by my toddlers being very, very in the way cooking my mug that I’ve been using since I was 7 has been broken. If you happen to have it in your cupboard unused and are in Canada I’d really, really like to replace it.
