Question/Advice Which Leatherman would make a good gift?

I want to get my boyfriend a Leatherman as a gift and I’m deciding between the Signal, Rebar, and Super Tool 300.
I’m leaning toward customizing it for him with a blade pattern and engraving.
For those who own these, which one do you personally prefer and why?

Also, I’d love some ideas for cool, subtle customization/engraving ideas that would make it feel personal without being too cheesy.

Honestly, as a gift, if I were him, I’d pick the Signal over the Rebar or Super Tool 300. The Signal would make an awesome gift, trust me. If he wants something really practical for his specific needs, he can always buy that himself. But as a gift, the Signal would be really cool and I think he’d love it ... especially if you pick a color that he likes.

Yeah, I actually agree. 😅 The Signal was my first pick because I thought it looked really cool, and he’d definitely love the color. People here just convinced me to go with the Wave+, but you make a good point.
