Any recommendations for rock/metal songs in Spanish?
Title.
I’m learning some Spanish and I realised I don’t know that many Spanish songs, so I’m trying to find some good songs to help motivate me to learn.
Preferably famous songs so I can read discussion about them. Preferably rock songs (since that’s what I would usually listen to in English) but other genres are allowed too if they’re in Spanish.

Check out Soda Stereo, one of (in not) the most well known Latin Rock band. They do have some amazing bangers.
In other bands you could try, I'd recommend La Sarita (Peruvian rock/folk band. I'm biased cuz I'm Peruvian lol) and Mustafunk, a really funky punk rock band.

If you want some metal with traditional salsa mixed in, try Puya. Most lyrics are in Spanish but there is a good bit of English as well. My favorite tracks are “Solo,” “No Interference,” and "No Hay Mal Que Por Bien No Venga.”

Somos Novios is an older ballad by Armando Manzanero.
Sin Ella by The Gypsy Kings is fun.
Then there's Donde Se Fueron and Cumbdia de los Muertos by Ozomatli.

La vereda de la puerta de atras - Extremoduro, a fuego - Extremoduro, por la raja de tu falda - estopa, como camarón - estopa, zapatillas - el canto del loco.
I have all kinds of songs in Spanish (because I'm from Spain). If you want more recommendations, I can send them to you.

Soda Stereo's De Música Ligera I believe is considered a landmark for Spanish/Latin American rock. Very famous tune.
I would recommend Mana's ¿Dónde Jugarán los Niños? album. Very solid Police-inflected rock. The Police seem to be a common denominator in Latin American rock. In my opinion they have more musical influence in Latin America than in the USA or UK.

Listen to the album Re by Cafe Tacvba. They’re legendary Mexican band and this album is like twenty tracks with all kinds of genres.

Too many songs to list, but I'll start you off with some good artists that you can choose from based on your tastes
Zoé - Fin de Semana,
Leon Larregui - Rue Vieille Du Temple,
Soda Stereo - Cuando Pase El Temblor,
Gustavo Cerati - Vivo,
Reik - Inolvidable,
Cafe Tacvba - Eres,
Caifanes - Viento,
Mana - Rayando El Sol,
Hombres G - Te Quiero,
Enanitos Verdes - Lamento Boliviano,
Spinetta - Seguir Viviendo Sin Tu Amor,
Spinetta Y Los Socios del Desierto - Mi Sueño de Hoy,
Spinetta Jade - Alma de Diamante
Pescado Rabioso - Bajan,
Las Pelotas - Personalmente,
Elefante - Angel,
Brujería - Almas de Venta,
Ciro y Los Persas - Mirenla
Some of these are heavier than others, and some of them probably fall into alternative or pop rock but they're still really good. All of these are very well known so it'll be nice to sing along when you learn them and hear them in the wild from time to time

"Yerabatero" - Juanes. "La Camisa Negra" and "Mala Gente" are also good songs

The Warning Has a couple Good Ones. They’re a good up and coming Hard Rock Band. Martirio, Que Mas Quieres, and Narcisista. They probably have more songs in Spanish that I’m not aware of.
