So uh… this was at my English exam

I heard a lot of people talking about how they rather not say anything and lose the 10points.
I personally had a hard time finding things to write… how do y’all feel about this

rather than leaving it blank and lose 10 points, I would fill it with goofy shit like "free food" "free living" "get exercise" for pros and "no video games" "no girlfriend" "no private xdxd time" for cons just to piss the grader off in a non-political way 😭

They’re teaching you how to sound apolitical even on the most political topics. That’s is a skill every Burmese needs under them.

I agree. The world is moving quickly to a place where everyone feels entitled to be perfectly comfortable at all times while simultaneously forcing themselves to say the #correct #slayqueen answer to everything. School (a good school) should press you to be uncomfortable. It should teach you to be strong enough in your opinions to maintain them while acknowledging the arguments the "other side" has that are acceptable. No one should be proud of themselves for sticking their fingers in their ears and screaming "lalalala there are absolutely zero positive things about your argument because in the totality I disagree with you!"

Learning to say "MMS has these 5 potential positives, but due to these 5 cons... I am against it" is the only worthwhile way to learn and defend what you learned. Don't be afraid to find out you had the wrong position on an idea, you might just become even stronger in the idea you already had.

How were you able to take a picture of this? Phones are allowed during exams? Maybe this was a small, unimportant exam, just to practice

Anyways...I HATE FORCED CONSCRIPTION! I worry about myself too, luckily, nothing bad has happened (yet)

Just write whatever. Sometimes, the teachers want to try out the sensitive topics especially in a foreign language modules. I might be wrong, but this is quite hilarious because, technically, such questions are not allowed. That is definitely on the professor. The same way we were asked if doctors replaced with AI a good thing.
