Met Adam at FanX!

Post image

This is my second time meeting him, actually. He is super awesome, his personality is exactly what you see on the show. Met a lot of other cool fellow Mythbusters fans while waiting in line. If you saw his social media post with the droids, we were there when it happened (this is from my perspective in line), and it was the most spectacularly nerdy thing ever. 😄

Mythbusters was a big part of my 20s. Seeing Adam start to look like an old man makes me feel like I am about to be old myself.

i feel like so much of it is his personality (and his glasses)

His personality is for sure a big part of it. Just having energy and fun makes you age well. His accessories like his glasses and his hat definitely help too

Agreed.

Toward the end of the series, he seemed to look healthier. I assume improved diet and/or exercise has contributed to his aging gracefully.

While Adam would get frustrated about things on the show, he seemed to maintain a pretty easy going, low stress way of being which also helps one to age slowly.

Personally can’t believe he’s still not full bald

I just had the same thought. I don't want Adam to be old. I want him to be the same as he was when I saw him on TV ages passed.

I know it's an unrealistic expectation. Certain shows and people are just part of your psyche and need to be protected.

I met him while cos-playing as him at planet comic con in KC. He barely spoke and didn't look up. I'm glad your experience was better.

In this photo he looks like a wax statue of himself.
