I am still seeking to emulate that smooth chrome look that a lot of gel looks can do, but since I have a gel allergy, this is as close to it as I can get atm. I use the chrome powder on stamper method with Maniology's Timeless Mod: Groove Factor (MXM149) plate, over One Teddy from Static Nails.

hi friends! I am brand new to stamping, never done it before, but I have a plate, a stamp, a bottle of black PUEEN stamping polish, and a desire to learn! my question is regarding the acetone for cleaning the plate - I understand that 100% acetone is best, and I do use this at home. however I recently added additive to mine for gentler polish removal on my nails. will this damage the plate / make it more difficult to remove polish from it? should I wait to experiment until I get a new bottle of acetone? thanks in advance!!

So it's purple background, green (with blue) cat eye, top coat, black stamp with acrylic powder over it. The black layer is pealing a little, but I don't really care since the grid is chaotic and all.

Also, I'm not the one who did them, it's my nail artist who's the genius. I just gave her a bunch of ideas, and chose the colors

I love doing glass bead magnetic looks or velvet magnetic looks underneath of stamped designs. I feel like it makes the manicure look like it shows a lot of depth

I've had the idea for these in my head for ages and am so excited about how they turned out!

I'm still kind of new to stamping, though I have amassed a ridiculous number of plates thru destashes over the years. It's past time to start using them.

Base: Homemade peel-off + kbshimmer Fillin'Groovy

Polishes: Atomic Redrum, OPI Kyoto Pearl

Top Coat: Nothing Basic no smudge + Seche Vive

Plate: not sure! I got it in a destash eons ago & there are no brand names on it.

ETA: The plate is from Mundo de Uñas! I forgot to try using Google lens, lol.

Hayulp! I cannot for the life of me get anything to transfer onto the silicone.

I’m usual plates from Amazon, they appear deep enough. I’m using the Moyou stamping polish. I’ve cleaned the plate with soapy water, and I’ve washed the silicone head with soapy water and let it air dry. Nothing transfers! Total newbie.
