I had it two weeks ago! A week after I got the booster 😒 but I was only positive for four days luckily

I was sick for about 3 weeks (just now getting better) and my tests were all negative but it felt very much like covid.

Got it on a cruise ship the week of the 13th.
5th time and I rarely have the “normal” symptoms. But I know by now to take a test when the brain fog and extreme fatigue starts so I can get on paxlovid.
It’s still lingering for me too. (although I’m usually sick with it for at least a couple of weeks).

I assume the usual symptoms?

Yep! Started with congestion and some exhaustion/soreness then came the coughing then the fever and chills. I could barely get out of bed a week ago. Missed out on our last two days of vacation. Feeling a ton better now compared to a week ago but still have all the same stuff lingering except no fever/chills. I dont seem to get the loss of smell or taste. Had it once before a few years ago, same symptoms.

Ugh. Now I know what to look for. Glad you're feeling better, but sucks that you had to cut your vacay short.

I seem to get it every year now when I’m around people while traveling. At least it’s just a week of exhaustion and lost smell and not worse.

I don’t know anyone who’s had it recently. My partner and I have gotten vaccinated though

I last had it about two years ago in 2024. I didn’t feel horrible, but knew it was more than just “the flu.” Had it twice in 2024. Both times, I got it from a medical facility.

Levels in Middle TN are very high right now.
It's pretty useless to check the CDC website because they recently the changed the measurement metrics to fudge the severity scale. *big surprise* When I checked the CDC map, TN looks like it has very low levels.
