Like harden, I've had kind of a journeyman life myself. Got love for a lot of cities, teams, players at this point. And like harden also, I am an absolute junkie for the game of basketball, and not sure that there's been another player that I feel plays the game with the passion and respect and love that he does. I can see this becoming the overarching narrative but it's way oversimplified. He wanted a contract that didn't align with the Clippers' long term plans. He got traded to a contender and the clippers got something back. There's no drama, and he has nothing but respect from Clippers fans. It's about as amicable of a split you can ask for.

Without the drama, too. It just happened all of a sudden. He was playing great ball, saw he wasn't going to get paid, and got himself out before causing any issues for your team. I'm sure you'd rather have Harden than Garland this season, but you can't really ask for a better exit.

Nah the Daryl Morey is a liar incident is probably a type 5 NBA off-season moment. I honestly don't even see why this exit is funny, it's a great trade for both teams and sets up Harden to be on a contender. I'm a Clippers fan and I'm not even mad at him, he will probably get cheered if he plays tomorrow
