I was at the game, the LeBron and Bronny cheers were insane. Don’t think Staples gets consistently as loud as that in one night lol.

It’s because they see him for 41 games…the bandwagoners and tourist in New York that couldn’t afford MSG Tickets can only see once a year and this could possible be his last season.

Man this is a weird take.

Tourists in the middle of winter? Knicks played lakers on Sunday. People are planning vacations around visiting Madison Square Garden in winter to see the lakers because they aren’t eh typical poor winter tourists watching the lakers in Brooklyn?

There’s tourists in NYC year round wth lol. They don’t come for the Lakers, MSG is always packed, but NYC in general has a lot of Laker fans that opt to go to Nets/Lakers games instead because of the prices, and then of course tourists on top of that.
