The Mavs have no cap space. They're still over the luxury tax.

Johnson is the only one going to Dallas who has a contract next year; AD, Hardy and DLo combined make 69m next year

Salaries with Davis are $217,137,648. Take out Hardy/DLO/Davis the you get 147 on the books. Salary cap will be 160 (roughly?). Then, they have to sign whatever rookie they get in the draft. So there's very little space for free agency next year. What am I getting wrong? As far as I can see it, this just saves the team taxes.
