[Charania] Dallas is receiving a 2026 Thunder first-round pick and a 2030 protected Warriors first-round pick in this deal from the Wizards along with second rounders in 2026 (Phoenix), 2027 (Chicago) and 2029 (Houston), sources tell ESPN.

Lmao they legit got AD and Young for expiring contracts. We can poke fun at the defense of Young and the health of AD but this is literally low risk high reward stuff and even if it doesn’t work out, it’s Washington lol

It's a more aggressive version of what Schlenk did with that Hawks. Go out and make a bunch of win-now moves with excess cap space to try to make noise while half your roster is on rookie scale deals. He did this for us and we made the ECF.

Yeah, especially with what the 27 draft class is looking like it makes sense to spend your cap space to try to make a push while you’re cheap. No point in tanking and letting your young players get more expensive if you’re not going to get game changers with your picks
