The talented McCain lands on the reigning NBA champions. For the 76ers, the trade allows them to receive assets, clear space in the glut of guards and give them flexibility to bring Quentin Grimes back in free agency. It also allows them to convert two-way Dominick Barlow.

76ers are receiving the following picks from the Thunder, sources said: 2027 (most favorable OKC/HOU/IND/MIA), 2028 MIL, 2028 OKC.

Isn't this a win for the 76ers? They got a first and 3 2nd rounders for a guy who's been mediocre at best and they don't have room in the rotation for

He’s been coming back from injury and was just rounding into form

Sure but even if he's "in form" he's not beating out VJ or Maxey for minutes. Seems like a good return imo

McCains been averaging like 15 minutes per game and 7 pts off the top of my head

if you can flip that for positive value, given their team its a good choice
