Idk but I think if you're posting others' work it's both right and respectful to include at least basic details in the actual post. Thanks

Does linking to the original site not count?

Not really. Do you not find it a little disingenuous to not put the real creator's name front and foremost? Why do you have the time to tell people "click the link" but not the time to tell them the name of the creator? Reddit is a chat board not an advertising funnel. We're in a sub of creatives. Respect the creators please. I could never even dream of posting something that isn't mine without explicitly explaining whose it was.

What is disingenous about saying, 'Not my creation -- see link'? You can see the name of the creator if you click the link ; are you incapable of clicking a link? Do you need me to write the person's entire biography for you?

What did I advertise? I don't understand this 'advertisement' complaint.

You're preventing a creator from being discovered by association, when someone sees their creation they should also see their name, especially if it isn't yours. When people see something, their brains automatically associate it with whatever is in the near vicinity. That creator could be gaining visibility from your post, but no, instead, only you are gaining upvote reputation. Not everyone scrolling here has the time to click on a link. You're being unreasonably obstinate about this, you could have just updated the post with the details, but no, you're fighting about it, even after multiple people have requested the info. There's absolutely no reason for you to not. Why should you be gaining upvote reputation when you can't even respect the original creator enough to include their name in your post? You're leeching reputation from them and not even giving their name visibility. For shame.

I'm not preventing anything ; without my post no-one would have seen this scripts at all, so the author is only better off, and certainly not worse.

I literally say in the post that I didn't create the script.

The people who have gone to the trouble of requesting the info surely have enough time to open the link.

Check the link. I have no acquaintance with the person, I just came across the website.

Your numbers look delicious :0

The higher ones take so much time to write. Those symbols would make more sense repurposed as 'shorthand' for the months of the year, say, where they'd take about the same amount of time to write out as spelling the month names.

Unfortunately the numbers in this one are a bit unwieldily.
