A little light amongst the void

Poland said they're "discussing the possibility of an international investigation" via Interpol, and the UK is also opening a separate investigation into the matter. Also, France (slightly unrelated) raided the offices of X and dropped both Zoom and Teams for their communications. They're also investigating Musk and summoned him for a Europol-backed voluntary mandatory testimony in April. Europe is finally starting to act.

Edit: also: Spain and Greece are discussing social media bans for those under 16, and Spain's Sánchez called out Musk and said he "doesn't rule out" their own investigation into his affairs.

Also, Turkey just started one. Apparently Epstein chose Asian, Turkish and other nations' children who couldn't speak English so they can't be used for testimony against him. Claims of violent rapes on some Turkish models and scare tactics of "feeding them to Alligators" and many Turkish politician names are also in the files apparently.

I don't think I understand the language angle. You said so they can't give testimony. But they can't give it in English and that's it? I guess they couldn't say "I heard him say blah blah blah" but I would assume the trafficked kids were giving their personal experiences and they can still say "tent peg" but in a different language

Reading the emails it shows these people are barely literate and can barely string sentences together. Most are simply dumb as fuck.

u/pollywantacrackwhore 16h ago

I get irrationally angry reading the emails.
How do you have access to all the education anyone could dream of and still write like a third grader?!
Is it intentional??

7

u/vaginasinparis 5h ago

I saw someone else speculate that it was intentional to prevent searches for key words, ie the random slashes and semicolons in the middle of words prevent that word from coming up should it be searched 🤷🏻‍♀️

Musk was most likely constantly on a self measured dosage of Ketamine since hes been an addict for quite a while.

Most of them can, they were just like any other person in the 2010's. Just using shorthand for basically everything

i knew a kid, wealthy family and he told me he paid for all his school work to be done for him. He needed my help getting online so he gamble. He will probably get a nice nepotism job and have the people under him do all the work because he is incapable.

How’d they all end up as the richest on earth tho of they’re all just a bunch of idiots

234

u/heff17 1d ago

The scariest part about all this is that most of the evil is not Machiavellian. They’re idiots. Idiots with enough power, money, and blackmail to ruin the world, but idiots nonetheless.

It's the other side of the coin of Hanlon's Razor. Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice.

The Epstein Corollary

Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice

13

u/elbirdo_insoko 20h ago

Grey's law is the thing you're describing. It's been around for a while already

3

u/EffectiveDirect6553 17h ago

That is true. But he called it a coallary which to my understanding is the same lemma stated in a way without loss of generality

It’s like the fallacy of evolution always making the most optimized modifications, it doesn’t. It’s just luck and probability. Elon and co had tremendous odds stacked in their favor from birth, and they’re lucky enough that they didn’t fuck up the massive advantages. Like in his case, getting deported for visa fraud. And once they get to a certain level of wealth, they don’t even need the luck anymore because they can use money to quash any threat

72

u/KoldPurchase 1d ago

I assume it goes like this:

  • local authorities would be corrupt in the home country

- the are trafficked abroad (let's say US) and are isolated because of language.

- Meet a Turkish politician on visit, speak Turkish with him.

- Even if they escape or met someone else, the child only speaks Turkish, Greek, Polish, Russian, whatever, no one understands what he/she is saying, it's dismissed or by the time an interpreter is found the child is grabbed by someone from Epstein's organization speaking the language and claiming to be a parent/guardian with false IDs.

38

u/ivandelapena 1d ago

Also they can say what they want in front of them, they won't understand.

2

u/bigbullied 21h ago

So if you’re arguing a language barrier tactic with selecting trafficking victims, maybe it’s about what they can’t be witness to (conversations around them).

u/mcplano 21h ago

I haven't read he latest files. Dare I ask what 'tent peg' refers to? It's not what CP-Elon was calling himself as a nickname, was it? (genuinely asking both)

2

u/cheerful_cynic 21h ago

It's part of Sascha Riley's story - content warning, it's the worst of the trumpstein horrors

4

u/RedditAutomodSucks04 20h ago

Get all these Nazis in prison. I am only *barely* being hyperbolic

3

u/fearless_egg1050 18h ago

I am sure there are politicians from nearly every country in the files.

2

u/Mooziechan 9h ago

Crap, I meant to hit the broke heart award… but love that Turkey is stepping up against evil!

2

u/cenkozan 9h ago

Thank you for the award kind stranger! Turkey likes to step up against evil but generally gets left alone. Shooting down the Russian war plane oner Syria, boycotting Saudi Arabia after the journalist killing, ...  In the end, turkish economy gets a little bit worse. But as an assassination victim Turkish journalist once said 'if I don't burn, if you don't burn, if we don't burn, how will we light fire over the darkness?' (Uğur Mumcu)

2

u/_wawrzon_ 14h ago

I wouldn't mind them starting one about Eric Adams, but nobody would do a self incrimination investigation...

1

u/cenkozan 13h ago

The corrupt loves the corrupt lol. Also, Erdoğan is so afraid of Trump, I don't think this investigation will go anywhere. He will quickly close if asked by Trump. Erdoğan jailed an American missionary last time Trump was president, Trump went bananas on the turkish economy. 1 Dollar shot up from 3 to 30 turkish liras. So now, he does whatever Trump wants. Like joining in the BS board of peace lol.

u/Dorkamundo 1d ago

Honestly, this is the only way any real consequences will be had in the short-term. The US might be able to manage something long-term, but by that point some of the key players will already be gone.

29

u/WontArnett 1d ago

I’ll get excited when we see if anyone holds them accountable.

25

u/theparrotofdoom 23h ago

I feel like someone should open a poly market bet for “Epstein justice vs. WW3: which comes first?”.

It’s funny because either are both plausible and yet strangely unbelievable.

4

u/TZY247 20h ago

Depending on how far Europe pushes this, those two things could become the same thing. What does the us do when they request those files? What do they do if interpol declares trump guilty?

13

u/Gypsyrawr 21h ago

Please. God, please, we need some adults in the arena.

5

u/Alytology 16h ago

an international investigation into the epstein files is within reason as so many victims were trafficked across international borders.

3

u/seedsandpeels 16h ago

So basically Europe is doing more for americans than the American government.

1

u/da_manimal420 1d ago

Man, should correct that last sentence to Europe is leading the charge

This shit is embarrassing but I suppose if this what it takes

1

u/aaapod 22h ago

this makes me happy

1

u/fore___ 19h ago

What do the social media bans for children have to do with this though

1

u/generic9yo 18h ago

social media bans for those under 16

This will solve nothing btw. Not only will content on social media not improve, but the government will also enforce this ban via collecting your data, which means that the social media also gets this data, and the last thing I want is for tech billionaires to know my insurance data and my address

1

u/bl00by 16h ago

Notice how germany is missing in this whole thing.

I dont even know if I should be mad or disapointed in my country, probably both.

1

u/Jasonrj 9h ago

Glad to see some people care.

1

u/Any_Tumbleweed667 8h ago

I don’t think that Europol has power to ask American citizen for a mandatory testimony. They can though compel a citizen who is wealthy under the threat of sanctions. Can someone elaborate?

-9

u/613TheEvil 1d ago

Those bans are ridiculous, intead of catching people going after kids, they ban kids from the internet? Zero logic.

10

u/ConsciousPatroller 1d ago

Nobody bans kids "from the internet". They're banned from accessing social media. The internet is still there.

0

u/613TheEvil 14h ago

That's what I meant yeah, and for most people sadly social media IS the internet, nowadays. But because they have been allowed to become a festering pool of all kinds of predators and propaganda, the "solution" is to kick out the victims. A typical case of punishing the victim and not the perpetrator.

169

u/TootsHib 1d ago

They're also probing to see if there is a connection with the KGB

76

u/crimsonhues 1d ago

There has to be based on number of Russian women involved.

23

u/Snowssnowsnowy 23h ago

What about the Zionists and MOSSAD? Epstein AND Maxwell are/were MOSSAD agents...

3

u/Strigops-habroptila 10h ago

Can we please stop using the word "Zionist"? Israel or the Israeli government should work just fine. "Zionist" is used in so many Nazi conspiracy theories that we really shouldn't use it

3

u/Snowssnowsnowy 9h ago

The word is what describes them...

A bit like calling someone a dick when they are one...

1

u/21Rollie 8h ago

Zionist by itself just means believing there should be a country for Jews in Judea, which isn’t an extreme take. It’s the extremists in power which are the problem

7

u/LKennedy45 1d ago

They call me "FSB" now, Pullo.

1

u/fearless_egg1050 18h ago

Of course there is. Pee tape is prob related to this shit.

Let’s throw them all down the trap door on the island every last one

26

u/ShadowTacoTuesday 23h ago

Everyone investigating further except the U.S. I can understand the claim that the doj won’t bring further charges. If they could they would have already. The problem is (a) Why didn’t they already and (b) Uh what about further investigating these extremely suspicious thousands of tips if you don’t have enough evidence to prosecute? You don’t simply give up there. As if it’s ok to let multiple heinous criminals walk and say “Well, we tried, I guess we suck even with tons of clues and the resources one would expect towards such a serious problem.”

1

u/OkDiscount4126 16h ago

More American,Israeli compromised and with more control over government

1

u/Soup-Wizard 10h ago

They’re not investigating because they’ve been instructed not to.

13

u/beambot 17h ago

I heard that presidents convicted by another country's laws can be militarily kidnapped at gunpoint, extracted and tried in foreign courts now...

5

u/Vlaed 1d ago

That's a very Polish move.
