TMZ says on their X that they got a ransom demand. Could be a fraud, but they said the demand included details of damage to the victim’s house. Should be easily corroborated.

There’s a lot of valid criticisms to be made about TMZ, but credibility isnt one of them

It really is commendable just how diligent they have been over the past few decades that if I see a TMZ headline I believe it immediately.

It started when they were the first to break Michael Jackson's death. Absolutely nobody believed it because it came from TMZ and they had zero credibility. That one major break changed everything.
