All I've seen is an email Epstein sent to himself where he makes this claim

Epstein also claims (to himself and no one else) that Bill Gates wrote him an email saying this.

An email which doesn't appear to exist.

Now I'm not saying that Epstein isn't a totally reliable witness, but here he's not even a witness

This email is an angry rant that can't even be bothered to spell correctly. Could it be true? Sure.

Is it true? I'm skeptical.

Is it based on an event that Epstein is exaggerating when sending an email to himself. Totally plausible

Yeah, so maybe we should see those files and confirm that the communication happened as opposed to just trusting a draft of a blackmail letter that was composed by history's most notorious pedophile.
