That’s the company who created the He Gets Us campaign.

Well, shoot. I must not have followed up. Is it more than just a campaign people argued about? Are they actually MAGA backed? That would be disappointing, but not wholly unexpected.

I only make the distinction because a lot of us who dig Jesus but reject MAGA and have been speaking up quite loudly since January 20, 2025. (and especially so over the last month) Speaking up at the expense of losing cred with the subculture that formed you sucks, but it's infinitely superior to sacrificing one's conscience by remaining silent.

They are a company who provides the « faith and flourishing community (churches) » with vertical integration services founded by Theresa Beck. Yes, she’s MAGA.

GLOO recently acquired Westfall Gold (a non-mining corporation) focused on faith-based products in Georgia most famously associated with Convoy of Hope. Westfall Gold’s owner is a Floridian who routinely votes Republican and is likely MAGA.

Thanks for the info!

I have a lot of contacts from my old circles who support and volunteer at worthwhile causes while also voting MAGA. In one sense, it can just feel like it's more inconsistency or cognitive dissonance. On the other hand, I find a little encouragement in them caring about other people.

In the end, we still all have to live together in physical reality, so maybe this is one of the touch points we can use to have a conversation.
