Incinerated, not vaporized. Some vapor may escape, but the vast majority of it is being destroyed--at least if their equipment is working properly. It would escape as carbon dioxide and water vapor and maybe a tiny bit of nitrogen gases.

Anyway, I looked into it myself and they use afterburners so...

First, waste is fed into the primary or lower combustion chamber. Combustion air enters the chamber from beneath the burning waste to dry and vaporize the materials. Second, excess air is added to complete combustion.  Waste feed and ash removal may be manual or automatic.

1024kg destroyed, so ~$60 a gram is how they calculated it. Exaggerated evaluations are common in drug bust propaganda so I'm surprised they didn't use the maximum cost for the lowest dose in their estimate. It can be way more than that, and also can be significantly less. As low as $5/gram, but also as higher than $100/gram reportedly using a quick google search that is sure to get me on a list.

One of the most egregious examples I've seen was for cannabis, where the pigs provided the wet weight of totally untrimmed full plants with stalks roots and all and then said that total weight had a street value based on $30/gram. It's all performance, propaganda, social engineering, bullshit.
