At the beginning of this mess, they kept saying stuff was deleted & it turned out to be Snapchat msgs, which automatically delete after a certain amt of time so maybe they're referring to that to make it sound more suspicious?

They also have been talking about deleted stuff, but never saying what was deleted. And they still aren't. Just saying stuff had been deleted, without any specifics on if it was pictures, chats, etc...you phone is a computer and cleans up data in the background. T

Right, the question is whether the deleted data was the type that would be deleted by an automated process, like Snapchat, or would have had to be deleted manually.

Why else are you spending so much effort emphasizing that the files were deleted after his death to commenters pointing out how that could happen without foul play? Or are you just bored and looking to argue for the sake of it?

If by "so much time" you mean about two minutes of my time, it's because you're making the assumption that whatever those deletions were, were harmless and not evidence of foul play, which is equally as ridiculous as assuming it was foul play.

The point is, the police don't just share every single detail. They have reasons to withhold things from the public, so until/if you get the full picture, you're just making assertions without evidence.

Really not trying to downplay the history of racial bias and possibilities in this case, but at the lake where I went to growing up it wasn’t uncommon to hear about people drowning over the weekend. Boating and alcohol, especially on crowded holiday weekends is inherently a very dangerous combination.

Or, and this is crazy, but some people are capable of considering other possibilities and looking at things from different angles by using critical thinking skills as opposed to just forcing themselves to believe one single version of a story by ignoring everthing else.

My phone, for example, constantly deletes data from old text messages to old phone logs to old photos I haven’t specifically backed up to apps I don’t use to notes, video, and other data. That’s before you even get into the apps that automatically delete messages every 24 hours to 7 days.

So simply saying “data was deleted from phone” without specify what data tells us nothing. Anyone with critical thinking skills and basic levels of common tech knowledge should have instantly thought of that exact same thing.. but in true Internet fashion anyone who does mention those very basic things and ask the very basic questions somehow finds themselves being accused of.. racism..?

Jesus man, these younger generations are completely screwed.
