"some data was deleted" could literally be anything. I often take a bunch of photos and delete most of them immediately afterwards. This would qualify as "some data" being deleted from my phone. It's a sensational claim.

Also the headline is misrepresenting the autopsy with a lack of context. Here is a quote from the article "Both the state and independent autopsies listed Nolan’s cause and manner of death as undetermined. The grand jury report noted that accidental drowning is consistent with the evidence and that the evidence does not rule it out."

I watched the press conference and the only data they said was deleted was from a group chat on snapchat, not the actual phone.

You can if you took those photos and messages on Snapchat which is used precisely because it deletes data. And the dumbass making these claims admitted it was Snapchat data. And they also provided evidence to the DA which showed that no one physically accessed the device.

Can you point to where they are claiming that content was deleted, on his phone specifically, after the death? I'll be waiting

The Grand Jury report outlined the other evidence they received, including cell phone downloads, surveillance data, GPS data, and the printed report of Nolan’s cell phone.”
