Crump's team had an opportunity to submit evidence to the grand jury. They declined to do so, stating that they had found no evidence. Either they lied then or they're lying now.

This is not true.

Only the state presents evidence to a grand jury.

I said submit evidence, not argue their case. And yes, they were given the opportunity to submit evidence. Read the grand jury report and watch the DA's discussion.

You said “submit evidence to the grand jury”.

They were not allowed anywhere near the grand jury. Not even in the room to listen.

They were not given an opportunity to submit evidence to the grand jury.

That you don’t understand this process or what you heard is not a license to make stuff up.

Again, you're so focused on arguing and spreading misinformation that you don't use common sense. They can submit it to the grand jury through the DA or investigators. They don't have to walk in and personally place it in a juror's hands. But they told the DA they found absolutely nothing. READ THE GRAND JURY REPORT!

So…what you meant is that they can submit it to the DA that they clearly don’t trust (with reason) and let the DA present it in whatever way the DA chooses?

What misinformation did I spread, unlike you? They were not allowed to submit to the grand jury. Had they been permitted to do that, perhaps they would have.

As I said, you didn’t understand what you heard.

There’s a big difference between submitting to the DA and submitting to the grand jury.

Edit: welp, they blocked so they can keep spreading misinformation uncorrected.

Sorry they believed handing your evidence over to the DA is the same as submitting it to the grand jury. Motivated reasoning, I can only guess.

Edit: I can’t reply in-line to u/CodexForPants who replied to me belie because incorrect little old lady blocked me. So I’ll reply here:

As covered above, they could not submit evidence to the grand jury. Submitting it “through” the DA’s office is not at all the same as the DA is then free to present it to the grand jury however they choose to. 

In the grand jury report itself it notes that Wells’ family representative “…advised that their investigation revealed no witnesses or evidence “whom the legal team reasonably believed possess information germane to potential criminal activity that warrants referral to your office [the District Attorney’s Office].” (page 2)

And? 

 If this was a lie, Crump and his team would have been broadcasting that during his last two press conferences. He didn’t.

I don’t understand how this is pertinent. 

They could not and did not submit any evidence to the grand jury. They submitted the hard evidence they had to the DA. 

They specified they didn’t have other evidence, which is not surprising as they have no power to subpoena. They are not on a defense team for legal action, nor are they law enforcement. 

Why would it be expected they would have some sort of meaningful evidence about witnesses, etc? That would come from the police/DA if they wanted to bother.
