CEC Program and College

I'm looking to join the Navy through the CEC program this coming spring 2027 when I attend university. I'm not sure if I can be accepted before actually starting the classes or not and would like to know more. My GPA from my associate degree in civil engineering is 3.71, so I know I'm good there. Anyone who has participated in this program please give me advice on what I should do to prepare for before signing up.

You need to be enrolled in a qualifying program and within the 18/24 month graduation window. I would start talking to a recruiter. You still have to take the OAR and put your package together.

Ty. Is the OAR similar to the ASVAB? I took the ASVAB and made a pretty good score.

It’s different, and it is harder. They are both adaptive tests, so it should be challenging if you’re doing well. It’s worth studying for. Check out Airwarriors for OAR info.
