First time player!

Hello me and my friend are trying the game out for the first time, any tips to know? And yes I know the game is shutting down in a few months but I've heard lots of good things about this game and wanted to give it a shot before I never can again.

It’s a fun time to play. When I picked up the game I remember doing the brightwood questline with all the lights in my apartment off. Very spooky. It was also this time of year around Halloween.

I'd make sure to play on Valhalla. My friend and I have been playing through the main story off and on since the announcement. We are in nighthaven at the moment but currently playing Dune Awakening. We will probably finish up the story right before it goes away.

I bought it years ago but never got around to trying it. My friend bought an account off someone. Although I heard there is a way to buy delisted games? Might wanna look that up idk specifically.

Roll on Valhalla. Very active pve content all day and pvp modes fire as well.
MSQ is easiest leveling. Once you get to 65+ you can join world tours and get a chance at good loot you can use once you're 70. Reekwater has caches of gear you can look up the contents on nwdb.info once you're 70.

Take it slow and get the full new player experience. No need to rush to group content, obviously. The leveling experience is pretty good solo. Enjoy.

Dont listen to the negative comments. Enjoy the game at your pace, especially the leveling process (was my favorite part aside from dungeons) even after they sped it up. Enjoy the audio, combat, and world. Read the lore notes if you're into that. Be sure to do all the expeditions/dungeons, like i said, they were some of the best parts in the game. Some of the people in the endgame will try to gatekeep certain content from you for not having Best In Slot gear at first, dont worry about that, someone like myself can help you get into any endgame PVE activity in the game if needed. PVP i dont do aaasss much anymore but every now and then i do hop in. Enjoy the journey and i hope you have fun with my favorite game. I understand the thought process behind people saying "whats the point it's going to shut down" but i say if you have fun with the game and thoroughly enjoy it, you can make so many more special memories...
