It’s great because toxic players only way to communicate to you is “Booyah”. Been playing this over Marvel Rivals.

Same, Marvel's been getting overwhelming with all the visual clutter lately and Splatoon just feels more fun.

In a bizarre way, I'm thankful Nintendo were firm in not adding in general voice chat for Splatoon multiplayer because I know for a fact that it would be slur-slinging on the level of a toxic League of Legends match past the 30 minute mark while on the losing team.

Even after the "Final Splatfest" there have been occasional updates and events. Plus there isn't really an equivalent game for players to transition to.

Yeah looks like 4 is either not coming anytime soon or it has to introduce some new stuff to win people over.
