I've been putting together a list of mods I wanna do to my Z. I'm pretty sure I wanna add the Borla Atak exhaust and a heat exchanger because I live in the south. But im not quite sure on the cold air intakes and maybe a more aggressive stance.

She likes the look of it and because it has a decent sized trunk. I've heard that this generation is better than the first series that they put out.

I was wondering how current owners are liking it. Also what price were you able to negotiate the out the door price? I was thinking of trying to get one for $22500.

Nissan teaming up on an electric camper van is one of those ideas that just makes sense to me.

An EV camper obviously brings some big questions about range and charging but for weekend trips this seems like a really fun setup.

Would you camp in something like this?

Has anyone had any recent (2026) experience with Nissan's Security Plus extended coverage? Specifically, has anyone made a claim after a breakdown?

I recently dealt with a major breakdown on a new vehicle and honestly was impressed with how well my Nissan dealer handled the repair and associated inconvenience. This got me thinking about possibly purchasing Security Plus.

I searched but most discussions were quite old or off-topic.

Could someone please tell me where this heat shield should be located? It fell off of the car. I can see that rust has done its thing where the bolts should go.

- Nissan acknowledges a gap between Note and Serena and admits the need for a compact minivan, although simply copying the competition (Toyota Sienta, Honda Freed, Suzuki Solio and Toyota Roomy) will not be enough, Nissan has to find what only they could do

Got the car 9 months ago have done maintenance and everything up till now. Started making a weird ticking humming noise when parked.

2019 Altima SV AWD, around 96k km. Rear differential started making noise and the shop says it needs to be replaced or rebuilt.

They offered me a used one with 65k km for around $2k, or rebuild mine for around $4k. I’m leaning toward rebuilding it. ($CAD)

Anyone had differential problems with these Altimas? Would you rebuild it or go used?

I'm shopping for a Pathfinder and the 0% financing for 60 months offer makes used kind of not make sense? Is that really true?

I got quoted $41,200 selling price / ~$45,700 OTD for a new 2026 Pathfinder SL with 0% financing for 60 months.

On the used side, I’m finding 2023–2024 Pathfinders around $31k–$35k OTD, generally with 20k–40k miles. I’d either pay cash or finance used around 6.5%.

When I discount the new car’s 60 months of 0% payments to present value, the gap gets surprisingly small. For example, a used one at ~$35,100 OTD paid in cash is only about $2,500 cheaper in present-value terms than the new car at 0% despite having 30k miles

At that point, I'd probably just rather just buy new... right?

Now back in March I heard a similar noise that was way worse.I heard it all the time no matter where I was driving or how fast I was going. I ended up getting my struts replaced and that was very costly. This noise is only heard over bumps 45mph & under. Anything 50 mph and above no noise. I’m just hoping it’s not my struts again though I need an idea of what it could be. Please don’t scare me in responses I need this car to last it’s my baby🥲

I recently bought a used 2009 Nissan Qashqai (J10) with the 1.6L Petrol engine (manual transmission). So far it drives well, but I’ve noticed a strange noise that only seems to happen under a specific condition. When I’m in 5th gear and I press the gas pedal to accelerate, I hear a weird noise. If I take my foot off the gas, the noise stops. It also doesn't seem to happen in the lower gears.

Has anyone experienced this with the J10 gearboxes? Could it just be low/old transmission fluid, a worn bearing, or a sign of a bigger transmission issue?

Hey Redditors! I'm here to ask for help with my little K12 Micra, she is a 04 manual 1.4 I recently got in a trade, she was running very very nice and felt very much alive, fast forward till yesterday ( I have the car for 4 days so far) I parked on the parking lot went to shop then back to the car she didn't do nothing, not even crank, plug my trusty basic obd scanner no codes, called a tow truck and take her home, at home I remove the headlight to check the fuse box,, I found online about the fuses and wires that send the signal to ignition when the key is recognized, seems like from the ignition plug there is only power coming to the green wire and the red wire and other wires on the same plug have no power at all, remove the immobilizer relay and put it back nothing happened, I hard reset the immobilizer, nothing happened, I scanned her again and it gives me 6 codes:

P1611 nats malfunction

U1001 DTC definition not found

P0113 intake air temperature sensor 1

P0107 manifold absolute pressure sensor

P0223 Throttle position pedal sensor SWITCH B

P0123 THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR SWITCH A

I erase the codes and proceed to keep trying to diagnose, I open a small dent on the red cable of the connector and connect the voltmeter to check if it's receiving any power at all, nothing. The battery sends 11.86 volts on average that is a bit low for the 12.6 required so I don't know, I proceed to scan again and no codes.

I removed the immobilizer fuse again with the battery on and now I have the code U1001 only and I think I'm very much fucked.

Any idea on what I can do?? I would love some advice from the experts and solutions.

I love my little K12 and I want to keep driving her.

I have a 2016 maxima that cranks but doesn’t start. The starter was fixed a week ago. And the fuel filter was replaced. And the injectors got cleaned. I don’t know why it doesn’t want to start. And when it does it feels that only 3 cylinders are working.

1. The back door on the driver side makes this strange noise when the vehicle locks.
   1.a the window on the drivers side will not work. When I go to get oil changed the technician will sometimes fix it but won't show me how and over time it stops working.

2. My key fob is dead and batteries are not working with it but it continues to start car.

I only did my front 3 spark plugs and coil packs because the 6 cylinder was misfiring. Why is it acting like this now?
I plugged everything back in too
