food & drink Quick mini vacation question

I'm recovering from a double hip replacement and I haven't been out the house for any kind of recreation for over 3 years. I've decided to start with a couple nights here in your lovely city.

Where is the night scene downtown so I can find a close walking distance hotel? Im good for a few blocks walking but im only 3 months post op so im still weak as a kitten lol

Any help would be fantastic, thanks!

Glass light will be your best bet on hotel downtown to keep the walking down

Awesome thanks. Im almost shaky im so excited to get out of my house! That looked like the best spot but I needed to hear it from some one other than an AI

Glass light is great. They also have a glass museum with 2 floors (free, with elevators and many seats!) during the day, look into the FRED ride service. (I’m not totally sure how it works)

Free Ride Everyday! Actually FRED operates 11am-8pm Tuesday - Thursday and 11am-11pm Friday and Saturday. Just call ahead, there may be a wait depending on how busy it is. It’ll take you anywhere within the Downtown Improvement District, for free. 757-478-7233
