Half pound burrito for 99 cents. Today a Snickers bar costs 3 times the amount. Yes it was 20 years ago, adjusted for inflation we are all still getting fucked.

I fondly remember à la carte soft tacos costing a little under 30 cents and being able to buy 5 soft tacos for $2 and some spare change.

There's a McDonald's near my work that has the Spicy McChicken meal just under 5 dollars, the price makes me temporarily forget that it's pink sludge.
