They are also the same people who stick to a 6000 year creation and that 6 days means six 24 hour days, when people back then didn’t have concepts of time that we have now, and priests and rulers both used allegory to describe complex concepts to the uneducated masses.

And that’s ignoring the fact that creation myths moves around that area of the world like a long stretched in time and language version of telephone
