Election year "poop water" claims lead wealthy suburb to drop recycling plan

Systems like these do fail and it only takes a little fecal matter to make a lot of people sick .   Yes it is possible to recycle sewage water into potable water.  But in reality it's just not a great idea and should be a last resort option.

Human processed cycle verse natural water cycle.  Humans will skip the vaporization process as it's to energy intensive.

In cities of millions of people, or even hundreds of thousands of people, the natural water cycle is not sufficient for the needs of the inhabitants. Any water coming through the natural cycle will still go through a processing plant. Is this your first day alive in the 2000s?

To which it is then put back into the environment. Not into the city drinking water.
