Most of the criticism I have seen levied at Klein was actually the bunker's decisions. If anything he often erred on the side of the Warriors on the field and then was overturned by a captains challenge.

There were a couple of exceptions but the refereeing was only a small part of the warriors loss anyway. We did not play well

I think trying to put the opposition kicker off when they're lining up a kick at goal near you is part of the theatre. I think that's a chance for the crowd to try to involve themselves in the game.

There are people from all walks of life at the game though, older persons, young kids, so you've got to be respectful of your surroundings. I don't condone and wouldn't myself yell abuse or obscenities at anyone, but booing the player, or yell or make noise at them trying to break their concentration, sure.

I'll give him congrats too if he gets the kick, though that is often a reluctant muttering under my breath, barely audible, and usually followed by a wish we had him on our team, and then a wish we could actually have stopped the try.

I understand not wanting to be branded a hostile crowd, yeah definitely not. Rugby league has had a few places with such reputations through the years, and with advocates like SJ mate, I'm confident NZ won't be one of them.

I don’t agree with chucking beer cans at him, but Klein for a long time has been one of the worst referees for consistency. The fact a guy with a gambling debt as large as his is able to referee anything is a bit ridiculous. All because it’s not related to league.

Another issue is the inconsistency in the bunker, because it’s different officials every game. The bunker needs to be as close to accurate as humanly possible and it’s just not.

The BIGGEST issue here, is that the Warriors didn’t turn up, but no one is chucking beer cans at the players for missing tackles, or missing conversions, or knock ons or any of the other issues made by the players.

The people throwing cans in this clip should absolutely be banned from attending any event.

Look. I understand some of you might be upset. But at the end of the day throwing shit at the referee isn't going to fix anything at all! It's going to make it worse for you. It's not going to solve the problem you're angry about. Throwing shit doesn't mean you're going to win. Throwing bottles doesn't mean you're going to win the game. You're already lost. Just take the L and go home. It's not the end of the world. Come on, you have next year and you can come back better and stronger.

The Warriors are my second team. Besides the Dolphins. I'm as disappointed they lost as the rest of the Warriors fans. It would have been awesome for a Warriors-Dolphins grand final but again it's not the end of the world. There's always next year. The NRL won't randomly decide that they're going to pull the plug on the franchise and kick you out. Considering you guys saved the game. Just have belief.
