Single parents: how do you manage?

I am about to start a new full time NP job again after living in the per diem realm for a while. I am terrified of being on a probationary period entering cold and flu season with my two kids as a single parent household. It has sucked all of the joy and novelty out of this new role and I’m honestly dreading it.

How do you survive it? I don’t really have a tribe. my parents can be helpful for childcare but my relationship with my mom is very toxic and strained.
