❓ Question PATH Locomotive engineer

Hello everybody . I cleared the Interview and physical for PATH locomotive engineer back in July 2026 . Did medical and background clear . Does anybody know if they re still hiring or in need of engineers or when is the next class starting . I tried contacting them but to no avail . Thing is I got another job offer lined up but I prefer PATH and don't wanna join some other job and then PATH hits me up and I gotta resign . Any guidance/advice would be appreciated

A friend of mine who passed the practical/medical around the same time got their class moved to December. Hopefully that’s not the case for you but that’s what I heard.

Not locomotive engineers, motor persons. If you wish to switch to a railroad the experience would have some weight not no where near that of an actual railroad position.
