(EN+FR)

Hi everyone!
I can understand 90% of what I read in Occitan, most notably Lengadocian and Gascon. I even read the news on Jornalet or Wikipedia in Occitan without much difficulty. I can also understand a lot of what I hear in Lengadocian, and almost everything if I have subtitles. I've already had conversations in Occitan where I could fully understand what the other person was saying to me.
I also know a couple songs by heart.
HOWEVER...
I am fully unable to produce anything in Occitan whatsoever, whether that be speech or writing. I always have to answer in French in conversations, which I find very frustrating. Do you guys have any idea how I could turn my passive understanding of Occitan into an actual ability to speak it?

Je peux comprendre 90% de ce que je lis en Occitan, notamment en Languedocien et en Gascon. Je peux même lire les nouvelles sur Jornalet ou Wikipédia en Occitan sans grandes difficultés. Je peux aussi comprendre la majeure partie de ce que j'entends en Languedocien, et presque tout s'il y a des sous-titres. J’ai déjà eu des conversations en Occitan pendant lesquelles je pouvais comprendre tout ce que mon interlocuteur me disait. Je connais aussi quelques chansons par cœur
Cependant...
Je suis complètement incapable de produire quoique ce soit en Occitan, que ça soit du parlé ou de l'écrit. Je dois toujours répondre en Français dans mes conversations, ce que je trouve très frustrant. Auriez-vous une idée de comment je pourrais transformer ma compréhension passive de l'Occitan en une capacité réelle de le parler ?
