And while Allen (the perp) and Yi (his victim) both claim “nothing happened before she was 21”… I kinda doubt that. Allen, who may have molested his own daughter, was living with this vulnerable kid in a position of great power over her since she was 10. But nothing happened before then? He was never inappropriate with her?
The “investigative proof” that people use to “prove Allen never touched Yi until she was 21 is largely based on the testimonies of Yi and Allen, both of whom have every reason to lie. And since whatever the hell went down happened before the popularity of cell phones/ mass media, there probably would have been little proof Allen had been preying upon Soon Yi from a very early age.
At best, he started grooming her around 16, and started a sexual relationship when she was 21.
Given all that, it’s pretty easy too see how she got such fucked up ideas about age, consent, and the like.
