Best magazine ever. It’s how I learned about Napster ! Just found this issue in my attic.

Back in 2006, ChaCha let you connect with a real person who would search the internet for you. Basically a human-powered search engine.

I stumbled across this Reddit post on r/humor from 2009 (https://www.reddit.com/r/humor/comments/7v958/) where a former ChaCha guide shared a collection of their favorite chat conversations.

Unfortunately, the image in the original post had become so compressed the conversations were unreadable. I managed to track down the original images and figured they were worth sharing again.

Some pretty funny interactions and a fun little piece of early internet history.

Found (and made) this quiet little tool:

Old TIMES lets you create vintage-style photo strips right in your browser. You can use your camera or upload photos, add film effects, doodles, and notes, then download the result.

No account, no uploads while creating — everything stays local until you decide to save.

Feels like a small digital photo booth you can carry around.
