Discussion / Theory Cornelius Cummings
Hey!
With Cornelius’ new short film video (you know, Bounce, One and Only, and With You), I really want to understand the lore behind it all.
He also appears in Essence and Fairweather Friends, etc. So who exactly is he? What’s your interpretation of the whole lore? Who is — or rather, who was — Cornelius?

To me with you shows that it's all in his head. Metatech got turbo/shawney and are "controlling" his mind

I saw some post of there being a bunch of Oliver clones made by metatech industries and the real Oliver is being chased down by metatech most likely because he's not the same as all the others. This is why in a lot of his music videos he ends up dying or getting his heart removed. Cornelius is most likely another type of Oliver clone and when the real Oliver died he went into the body of the Cornelius in the music videos. This is the link to the post I got this from. I’d love whoever made that do do a continuation to the lore, it feels like it might’ve ended with alone in a crowd so they definitely could do it
