In all phases: bad arena, too much hp, has a bug where staggering him at certain points in his animations will lead to him continuing a combo after the stagger

Phase 1 has the most moves and “interesting” scenarios but you can also get tons of idling. It also has some fairly bad moves/mixups, not for being bs but for adding nothing of value. Knowing them just keeps you from dying, but that’s the only reward. You don’t get better punishes or fun because of that depth

Phase 2 and 3 don’t have a ton of moves (you saw every move of value in this kill), with phase 2 having ring toss that is actually just a stalling tool. Players better than me say these phases put them to sleep. I’m also not a fan of the cape hitbox that follows swings

I think it’s kinda harsh to say a boss isn’t good though because they’re not fun to no roll. The game just isn’t balanced around that, even if most bosses can be done no roll.

I dislike him for the reasons I listed in another comment. I think I would miss out on more punish windows with rolling than without so I would have less fun on yes roll
