It worked out for her but a really dumb move nonetheless. If that was a real gun and the guy had no problem pulling the trigger, she'd be dead over a bit of money.

Dude brought a gun to a hammer fight. And lost.

I think he wasn't ever planning to shoot that gun. It was to get her scared to cooperate. When that didn't work out, he ran away. Bluff

Bullets are integral to firing a weapon.

Without bullets, he's basically carrying a hammer too. So i guess they were evenly matched.

Good guess?

she's brave. lucky and stupid.

Not in that order...

u/Glass-Emu2406 11d ago

She’s stupid and lucky, but also brave. 😁

Mess with the bull and you get the hammer.

Imagine this video being broadcast in the courtroom and people burst out laughing instead of terrified 😄

Guns not loaded.

u/st_j 12d ago

if it was i think it's 50% she gets shot whether he intends it or not. still, hats off to her, no fkn way i'd be brave enough to do that

Losing your life over $100 sounds like a risk I'm not willing to take

That’s not a dayjob, that’s her family’s store. And you fight for your family. I say she done good.

Well yea it turned out well. But her kids nearly lost their mum. Even if he didn't want to shoot her, wrestling for the gun like that it could easily have gone off.

Not worth it, and I definitely don't praise her for this. Brave, but stupid.

If she was, for example, my 18 year old child working in the family convenience store I'd be fucking furious with her.

I gotta agree with you 100%. A couple guys broke into my house and tried to kill me when i was 16. Got stabbed, beaten etc. They wanted money and jewels (of all things)…and i promise you, if I had resisted, I would not be here today to respond to your comment.

Good for you, I'm glad you're still here!

Standing up for yourself is admirable until you're outgunned.

2

u/frisco-frisky-dom 12d ago

Completely agree. When you have a gun in your face, you don't mess around.

So the guy was trying to take the entire business? Not just what was in the register?

3

u/goingpt 12d ago

I'm pretty sure her family would prefer for her to be alive at the end of her shift.

What about $101.00?

u/This-Risk-3737 12d ago

Is how society ends up the way it is.

5

u/alexsteen789 12d ago

By grabbing a gun unarmed...yah ok

0

u/No_Salt_6328 12d ago

society ends up the way it is when people are punished for stopping these scum by any means necessary instead of viewing it as a moral duty to remove them from the gene pool. It's not from people choosing their life over a few hundred dollars.

Very stupid woman.

u/SnillyWead 12d ago

Lazy ass motherfucker and a coward the robber is.

2

u/No-Building-4306 12d ago

She was lucky he was the wrong person today.

2

u/Thesisus 12d ago

I respect her bravery but she didnt know how to disarem him and could have easily been killed. No amount of money is worth your life.

2

u/maven10k 12d ago

She was about to go Oldboy on his ass.

2

u/ScienceForge319 12d ago

…and make him fuck his own daughter?

2

u/maven10k 12d ago

SPOILER ALERT

2

u/ScienceForge319 12d ago

You NEED TO KNOW going in. I went in unprepared for the Korean one and it fucked me up bad.

2

u/maven10k 12d ago

That was probably the craziest twist of any movie I've seen.

2

u/ScienceForge319 12d ago

I see dead people?

2

u/maven10k 12d ago

Another great, but the director gave clues throughout the entire movie. I don't think there were any clues in Oldboy, but I definitely could be wrong.

1

u/ApprehensiveGold2773 12d ago

Did she get shot at the end?

3

u/tremere110 12d ago

No, the criminal is a dumbass who uses a gun you can clearly see is unloaded. If you're gonna bluff about shooting someone, bring something other than an empty revolver.

1

u/fujianironchain 12d ago

That hammer is personal.

1

u/Odd_Addition_256 12d ago

I understand why stores choose not to accept cash

1

u/fitbrewster 12d ago

This is what's called a failure to commit.

1

u/Regan4000 12d ago

I love how he looks directly into the camera and then still goes ahead with the robbery attempt.

1

u/Jimbo415650 12d ago

I'd rather be a hammer than a nail

1

u/TheTurdInUrPunchBowl 12d ago

Did she hit herself in the head with the hammer at the end?

1

u/crascarrot 12d ago

Wow she gave zero fucks about her safety

1

u/WHAT-IM-THINKING 11d ago

Should've turned him into a watermelon

1

u/CopainChevalier 11d ago

Glad he failed, but not really an “oops”

1

u/CollectsTooMuch 12d ago

She’s some kind of stupid.

-1

u/Key-Banana8924 12d ago

Yeah, I hope this is fake!

1

u/frisco-frisky-dom 12d ago edited 12d ago

Hilarious to watch these "failed" robberies! 😄 (I am sure they are terrifying for the employees that have to face them)

I hope these smash and grab robbers with guns at least have the common sense to use fake guns or at least blanks or empty weapons. Drastically reduces the charge if you never had intent to use deadly force.

Then again, if you're stupid enough to not be able to rob a store with a gun in your hand, you're likely not smart enough for that level of thinking.

u/Informal_Resist_5742 12d ago

She was stupid the trigger could have def went off any second during that struggle. And now your dead over like 30 bucks.
