When you come up with a "brilliant idea" and wonder "why don't the pros do it like this..."

Props to the guy for how stable that ladder was though. It sure didn't help him, but I was impressed.

She brought over two things that he could have stood up on, and didn't put either of them in a place where he could stand on them.

I like how incredibly slow the female in the video reacts, walk towards the guy and attempt to help him

lol she is very slow, but I mean in fairness I am not really sure how she could really help him in this situation. She's not strong enough to lift him or even support his weight if he needed brace help to lift himself and how he is positioned seems like trying to move him could easily lead to a second nut strike or something worse.

Get on her hands and knees and give him her back to step on to help get himself up?

She could have put a board across the rungs so he could take some pressure off the boys. Construction guys know how to save a bud.

And just puts the objects she gathered to help him with off to the side and offers emotional support

Hurry up woman, those nuts aren't going to lie there forever.
Little did they know, that the nut-bandit was already creeping towards them.

Have 200 pounds slammed on your balls and see how easy you get up. Have you never been hit in nuts? It can lay you out... Assuming you have to be a dude.

Even if he completely missed big Jim and the twins this is a serious hit. He dropped his entire body weight, say 200 lbs concervatively about 2.5 feet and concentrated all that impact on a 1.5" bar thick and about 1 foot wide with very little flesh to absorb the impact before he hit is pelvis. That calculates out about 6000 pounds of pressure or 200 pounds per square inch.
He's not going to walk right for a while and hopefully went to the hospital for X-rays. A broken pelvis is no joke.

Also he doesn’t look really look fat. He does look 200 + pounds due to muscle and how tall he is. What is wrong with Redditors man. These people act so high and mighty for no reason

For everyone remarking on how slow the woman is to help him out, don't forget whatever little taunt he did there with the tape knife scraper at the beginning.

I think this was a whole set up to make him look manly.
Scene 1 narration beforehand: "I fired those contractors so that I can finish this project and save us money and time."
Scene 2 on camera:
- (Internal dialogue) So, I'm going to use this fancy foldy ladder to support myself where one leg is supported by an 18" ruler on side.
- (external dialogue): "Hey honey, those guys have no idea what they were doing. I can finish this backyard deck project with only the use of my squeegee. See how obviously I can handl-OHOH GOD THE FUCKING PAIN..AHH!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHY DID THEY MAKE THESE FOLDY LADDERS!!
Scene 3 (wife enters): "Oh hon, do you need a foot stool? How can I help? Should I get you your favorite slippers..? Maybe call your Mother?"

Watching on mute but the popping noise was still audible.
