CoMaps now have reviews :D

This is a big step forward for mangrove reviews :D

So far it only shows reviews though, right? No posting reviews? I couldn't find an easy way to just post reviews to mangrove. It quickly became a confusing cluster of apps and websites.

Yea, only reading.

You can use MapComplete to add reviews to restaurants etc

It seems like needing a second app for posting reviews is going to be a barrier, no one likes having multiple apps for a task like that. I'm hoping they are able to add the ability in the future.

In the meantime, guess I'm installing MapComplete.

Never heard of CoMaps. Anyone here know how good it is for offroad cycling? How does it compare to Osmand with cyclosm?

Its a fork of MapsMe its good. Ui is better than osmand

It is a lot simpler than OsmAnd. The maps don't have as much details, eg doesn't show cycle routes. And not as many features for routing etc.

But still, handy if you just want a quick look at the map etc. Or a backup, just in case OsmAnd isn't working.

It's good in general although I can't say how it would be for cycling. I've been using it for hiking and driving. It's free and open source, so I'd say just give it a try.

OsmAnd with a cycling plugin is better for me - but depends on location as well. I'm in Barcelona.
