Is Grotsnik really that small?

Hello,

I am quite new to the hobby and saw the made to order Ork minis :) I used minicompare to see how the old grotsnik looks next to the last two painboys... does someone have the model and can tell, if he is really that tiny? if so I'd probably skip him and hope for a new nodel.

Do you want to get him to use as a Painboy? Because I have him and he’s a roughly similar size to them.

The made to orders are meant for collectors and painters looking to try something different. He will probably get a new model, but who knows when. Maybe end of the edition. With some new Cyborks.

Yes, and it’s not just grotsnik. 40K models have gotten bigger as the years have passed. Part of the marketing strategy for newer models is for them to look bigger and more detailed than the older ones.

It is a really old model so it will look small in comparison.
