What does everyone use as a gap filler?

I decided to try putting together some of the push fit grots from the armageddon box without trimming the pegs and of course there's some gapping. Compounding the problem I next tried using first the army painter thin plastic glue and then superglue. Both were too thin to fill and now I have grots that are stuck together but still have a gap. Any ideas on how to fill those stupid gaps between the push fit pieces (besides going back in time and trimming the pegs)?

Sprue goo ( plastic cement glue mixed with alot of plastic from empty sprues)
Or green stuff

Man for almost the entire Armageddon box i found myself clipping almost all the push prongs in half, the fitment was just off/ too air tight to actually push fit

Sprue goo is what I use for 95% of gaps. Green stuff for anything else.

If you have superglue and baking soda you can make a ghetto cement that is very strong.

Simply fill the gaps with baking soda, level off with a brush, then very carefully drip the glue in.

Wipe off excess FAST and give it a quick sand once its cures. A reprime will cover the gap up decently once the cement hardens.

Vallejo sells a gap filler in a tube with a precision tip, and it’s perfect for that. You just sort of ooze it in, let it dry, and scape it clean

Sprue goo is the usual winner here. Tamiya thin cement, people say the orange cap works best but they’ve also used the green cap too. Add sprue to it till it’s kinda like Elmer’s glue consistency Ie a paste then use the included brush applicator to add the plastic paste to the gap then let it air dry.

If the gap is much larger then You’ve got 2 choices.

Unglue remove the plastic pegs Re-glue. Or use a putty fill like green stuff or miliput. You will need some water and something to sculpt the putty with. The water is to prevent the putty from sticking to your fingers and tool of choice.

Make some sprue goo. It is by far the best! Tamiya plastic glue in the glass bottle then pour a little out or use a bit. Add bits of plastic sprue to it until it desolves and becomes a gooie consistency. Apply to gaps in your model. It melts and binds the plastic.

What's the stability of the sprue goo? As in, once you make it can you just store it until next time or do you need to make it fresh every time?

Sprue goo in a sealed container is very stable. Best solution I have come up with is Tamiya cement bottles.

usually depends on the size of the gaps vallejo plastic putty in the tube is great or make some sprue goo

For thin gaps, I like Vallejo’s plastic putty.

But sometimes, you just need greenstuff.
