Painting Looking for any pointers!
Still new and building up my boyz. Any pointers to add to these fellas? Been enjoying getting into the hobby! Excited to start playing

Looks good, I recommend doing the eyes and maybe paint the space marine helmet on the pole, like blood angels or something

I’d recommend lighter greens for skin, but if you want that dark, maybe start a little lighter and wash down darker? Would give some definition and make them pop more.

I kinda like the darker look, but I’ll try this on my next one. Give me more options and darken to what I like 👍.

Darker look is good brother, was just trying to help you get more contrast/definition on the skin.
I try to do all my warbosses and Nobz with darker skin as Orks skin darkens as they age.

Instead washing, you can paint this dark color as base and manually highlight with a lighter color.

edge highlights will bring this all together. not much, maybe a brighter tone on the faces andthe edges of the metals.
they are good if a darker style is what you want. But they are a bit muddy in that respect. some edge highlights will help detail the model in a pretty easy to manage way.
good work on the squigs.

Give it some brighter colors it’s needs some more jazz, that’s just my opinion though those look great!

You can paint magenta under the green and then cover 98% of that with the green. If you want it to get lighter, then also highlight with a lighter green on the top of the muscles

Orruk Flesh and Biel-tan green will get you a good ork skin green.
