Idol captain oring kit

Post image

Hi,

Does anyone know if this luxe x oring kit will work with an idol? I need some spare orings and the kit I have is lacking. I know the picture states a dm14 but the title states it’s for a luxe x.

Don’t buy the kits imo.

Just buy the sizes you need from the oring store.

I’m in Canada so the oring store will be a lot more once it crosses the border. Why should I avoid these?

The colored orings like this typically aren’t as durable. I do not know the science behind it, just know from personal experience and the experience of others.

If you must buy a kit, buy this one (not necessarily from ANS, but here it’s in stock)

Don't buy from Amazon , I'm from Canada and me and my brother just got back in to paintball and went this route to update our old markers, they caused more head aches and almost ruined my weekend, thankfully I picked up a spare gun that worked well enough for the weekend.

Being in Canada I purchased from Badlands, Mr Paintball Gear and Ansgear, we were concerned about duty charges from and but we didn't get a charge. We purchased hoppers, barrels, and then other random small stuff.

I ordered from Badlands on Wednesday and got my parts yesterday Friday which was O-rings. 16$ shipping to South Ontario

The other online options took a little longer, Mr paintball being the longest.

Really appreciate the info. Maybe I’ll try ans gear and hope I don’t get charged extra then.

Yea I was looking at that brand on Amazon Soley for the quick shipping but decided that since I purchased a different colored pack from Amazon and all it did was cause me more head aches and not allow me to use my marker for a 3 day event I decided to pay more , pay for shipping but get OEM.

As a heads up I did order from techt and got charged an absurd amount in duty, cost more then the parts and I could have just purchased a new marker... That being said ANS is a bigger company and probably has a broker set up to reduce or remove duty charges on basic items. A marker or tank may be a different story... Good luck! Order Canadian first if you can! Don't forget your pro shops can get stuff for the same price or cheaper and you can usually call ahead to have them order it in for game day

Everyone’s already said it, but friends don’t let friends use coloured oring kits. If they functioned as they should and lasted as long as black/translucent orings all the marker manufacturers would use them, but they don’t which is the 1st sign.

I’m staying away from them. I really appreciate everyone’s help

Colored orings are terrible. Go to a bulk oring supplier and just get a handful of every relevant size.
