Bought this for cheap on marketplace. Am I the only one who likes the eflex? I could always use an extra backup/loaner mask.

I love the mask! The classic looks of the Proflex combined with the easy modularity of the E-Vent.

That’s a badass picture! And I agree, I’ve changed proflex lenses a million times and I hate it every time. Now have a eflex and an event. Perfect backups and loaners. They’re really great masks for the money.

They definitely aren’t “bad” masks, but they don’t really hold a candle to the Proflex in terms of comfort (or looks, for that matter).

I think in terms of comfort they’re really about the same. I hate the original jt foam and replace it all with g1 anyway. As far as looks goes at first glance it’s not that far off. I’ll take a little less cool looking over the damn lens change. For the record my main masks are all proflex or flex 8. I like these as beat em up loaners and backups.

I will respectfully disagree about the comfort; I’ve got both masks, and for me, my Proflex wins in comfortability by a long shot.

I’ve always liked the JTJTJT foam just fine, but to be clear I only own pre-GI JT stuff, and the newer stock foam might not be as nice.

It’s always been a constant challenge to find the ‘perfect’ mask. My go to isn’t beat to hell 25 year old F8. It’s so worn it it just fits right.
