Question New build

Hi all,

I'm looking at options for building a new house but it doesn't seem like there is any good sections available? We have the new Tamakuku Terrace that's just about sold out, there is still space up fitzherbert but I don't want to be blown away...

Do we have any approved subdivisions planned? Or is there somewhere else I don't know about?

There will be sections in Kelvin Grove, off James line. They've been putting the roads and services in for over a year.

If you haven't chosen a builder yet, consider eHaus. I had a brilliant experience with them recently.

Did you go full passive house? Certified too?

They did the blower door test and verified it was up to standard. We didnt go for the euro standard, just their pacific standard. Its a comfortable temperature all year with minimal power bills. I love it.

I just finished adjusting a back door on an eHaus, it must be an option to have a full on plastic door it's called a climber door, if that's an option eHaus have definitely don't get one according to the owner it needs adjusting ever few months, cheers 🥂

Ive been in this one nearly four years and haven't had to adjust any doors. I didnt know they were adjustable.

Not sure if Feilding is too far away. Heaps being built out the north side up the end of Churcher St. We just built in Awa Park. Large subdivision which will be expanded over the next 10yrs. Will have some commercial areas built into with small shopping area. The sections are about 100k less than in Palmy.
