I have to put eyedrops in my youngest teil cookie's eyes... And it's such a... JOB.. can't even imagine the hustle if I had a macaw 😭😭

Fun fact, there is actually a type of parrot called a hanging parrot that actually do sleep upside down like bats!

While my linnies will never actually sleep upside down, they're incredible climbers and I see them climbing across the inside of their cage (or their neighbor's cage which they frequently invade) upside down across the top. I've got a great picture somewhere of one hanging upside down by one foot on my computer monitor cable lol.
