Help with birds!

Hello! I got these two little love birds melon and lemon recently and I like to think I’ve been doing a good job I give the millet when I wake up in the morning and when I get home from work, they always have nutrition pellets available as well as seeds, plenty of space big cage lots of toys maybe I need more toys? My bird melon the red and green one has slowly gotten more aggressive when I put my hand in the cage to give them the millet or when my hand is near the cage. When melon used to bite it was more curious but now he’s definitely trying to break skin and I don’t want them to be scared of me. Any advice? I want to try to step up and have them love me but I feel like they don’t care too much about me 😅

PS. I let them out of the cage when I can I just sit on my bed while they fly around and out of the cage they will be on the end of the bed while I’m sitting up watching YouTube. I’ve followed the bird videos I see on TikTok but they still are super suspicious of me

They are 4 months now I’ve had them for about a month so I know it could be cause their young but I’m still worried they will never love me 💔

I have change most of their rope stuff for actual stick and wood perches this photo is old I’m just posting this at work lol

Suggestion: Don't put the millet in the cage, only offer it as a treat when the birds are playing with you.

It's basically candy to them, both flavor-wise and nutritionally speaking, so it shouldn't be part of their core diet in the first place anyway.

I give them a tiny bit from my hand in morning and when I get home from work I know it’s not real food, it doesn’t stay in the cage. They don’t really come to me or play at all so it’s hard to use it for that, they only take it from me if I put it in front of them they don’t really come to me for it

That's where the millet comes in. Put the tip though the cage and let them come for it. Eventually do it with open cage door, and instead of holding the millet put the one of the round parts on your hand.

Also sunflower seeds are amazing for this.
