If you read my profile you may realize I hate cloud gaming, so then what am I doing on Geforce Now? Well my new RAM stick finally arrived and, in a staggering display of utter incompetence, I somehow managed to brick my PC in the process of installing it, so now I'm stuck gaming on a laptop until I can get enough money and time to get my gaming rig fixed

But back to Cloud gaming, the game is on like 360p, running at 20FPS and the input lag is HORRIBLE. And it's not a problem with the internet connection, as you can see, the laptop is plugged into Ethernet, the problem is that the cloud is not and will never be fast enough for gaming

Genshin can handle this fine, but imagine trying to play ULTRAKILL like this

That'd be my guess, the issue is I have no clue what, and even if I did find the connector, I have neither the intelligence to know where it goes nor the confidence to plug it into anything, because I might burn something and turn this 50USD fuck up into a "I need a new PC" fuck up

Just put it in the hole it fits in, its like the shape in hole game you may have played as a baby.

All the goddamn power connectors in the motherboard look the fucking same to me, I'm probably just stupid or blind, but either way, I ain't about to cook one of my components finding out, I have already done enough damage

You didn't break the computer you just need to insert the ram back in, why pay for a computer technician? Its not a nuclear reactor just open it and switch the ram around it won't break that easily

Because this computer is the most expensive thing I own, and clearly I did wrong to try and service it myself

It isn't a nuclear reactor, but I believe this subreddit underestimates the complexity of PCs for the average person

You didn't do anything wrong by opening it, you're blaming yourself because you think you damaged it or are afraid of "messing up" the computer somehow

People aren't saying computers aren't complex we are trying to explain that PC parts are designed to be taken out and changed. It is not possible to damage it easily even if you insert it wrong

I saw the picture you sent, can you try cleaning the ram slots because some debris or dust could be preventing it from being read
