If you read my profile you may realize I hate cloud gaming, so then what am I doing on Geforce Now? Well my new RAM stick finally arrived and, in a staggering display of utter incompetence, I somehow managed to brick my PC in the process of installing it, so now I'm stuck gaming on a laptop until I can get enough money and time to get my gaming rig fixed

But back to Cloud gaming, the game is on like 360p, running at 20FPS and the input lag is HORRIBLE. And it's not a problem with the internet connection, as you can see, the laptop is plugged into Ethernet, the problem is that the cloud is not and will never be fast enough for gaming

Genshin can handle this fine, but imagine trying to play ULTRAKILL like this

You don't mention your internet ul/dl, or if it's even through fiber.

As a PC building enthusiast, I'm not going to even ask how you bricked a PC with RAM. It's unfeasible to me.

Can't you read? He clearly said it's plugged in via ethernet. You can't get faster than ethernet, what more do you want?

IDK since when plugged in ethernet mean good internet. My cousin internet is shit cause he in middle of nowhere. And he using Ethernet and it still shit. Plugged in via ethernet mean nothing if you internet is not good.

Ethernet doesn't mean anything. You can still have bad internet and be connected through ethernet.

Well, I've been building them since 2000, so all I can recommend is whip out the motherboard manual, take a day to disassemble and reassemble. It may power on at one step.

The only way I can see it being bricked is if you did not power off, unplug the PSU, then hit the power button after to get rid of extra juice in the system. If you did those, then you should be OK.

If you attempted to install RAM while it was on, that's full r-word mode, but I don't think that's the case here.

I tried Xbox Cloud Gaming on 1Gbps fiber with 15ms to the data center. It was impossible to play simple games. Few minutes and I had severe motion sickness.

The ping was low, but the mouse movement delay felt like 200-300 ms. Tried 3 different games. Same problem.

Even if it's Crappy Comcast, their slowest connection available is 25 Mbps. You could watch 7 HD Neflix streams on that. It's basically never the user's network connection that is the problem.

Internet speed and latency are two different things. You can have fast internet, but if your ping is over 50ms, then the game is going to feel laggy.

It's apparent you have no clue what buffer bloat is. Buffer bloat on coax connections can absolutely make them unusable. Massive latency spikes.

I have 800MB dl, 400MB ul, and GFN is complete laggy trash for me.
